Programme Outcomes

After successful completion of the Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT), graduates will be able to:

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology, and clinical sciences relevant to physiotherapy.

• Assess patients using standardized musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and functional examination techniques.

• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans using evidence-based practice.

• Safely apply electrotherapy, exercise therapy, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.

• Manage patients across orthopedic, neurological, sports, pediatric, geriatric, women's health, and cardiopulmonary specialties.

• Promote health, prevent disability, and improve functional independence through rehabilitation.

• Conduct clinical research, maintain ethical standards, and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Practice independently or within hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports medicine clinics, community health programs, and wellness organizations.
